Why have NetSafe’s use agreement templates been updated?

The 2007 revision of the NetSafe use agreement templates takes into account:

• The growing variety and proliferation of ICT equipment/devices present in schools
• The growing number of incidents involving harassment on websites
• The use made of privately-owned ICT on the school site and at school-related activities
• The need for the school community to be aware of what constitutes appropriate use of ICT
• The growing number of serious incidents involving misuse of mobile phones.
