Once the cybersafety team has drafted a school cybersafety policy and student and staff use agreements, all of these documents need to be presented to and ratified by the board of trustees. Drawing on the knowledge gained during their previous attendance at a NetSafe training module , the cybersafety manager (or a nominated member of the cybersafety team) should deliver a presentation to the board on the importance of cybersafety within the school and the need for thorough and effective policy and practices, before presenting the drafted documents for approval.
