Queenstown, the "winter wonderland" of New Zealand will host this year's conference. 

 

Queenstown is famous for its tourism. Queenstown has an alpine climate with hot summers and cold winters. The conference falls in the middle of the New Zealand winter. July temperatures are around 0 to 8 degrees Celsius (32 to 47 Farenheit). On average there is 2.6 inches of precipitation in July.

The Conference Venue

From the Airport - Taxi is approximately NZ$15.00 and a 15 minute drive. Shuttle service is approximately NZ$7.00 and a 25 minute drive. From the CBD - 5 minute walk from the Queenstown Mall. From the Mall turn right onto Rees Street, left onto Beach Street. Beach Street becomes Lake Esplanade and Rydges Queenstown is on your right. Taxi from the CBD although not advised is approximately NZ$5

Driving from Queenstown Airport - 9 Kilometre 15 minute drive southwest. Turn right onto Kawarau Road, left onto Frankton Road which becomes Stanley Road. From Stanley Road turn left onto Shotover Steet which becomes Lake Esplanade. Rydges Queenstown is on your right.
